Return...

Jeff
read and re-read the paper again. His father had been a shrewd conman all his life. Not to forget a filthy rich conman who never had been caught. But he would never betray his only son. They were mates for life. And now that his father was dying, Jeff wanted to make sure he didn't miss out on anything. He personally took care of him and even paid for the lavish funeral. In return while counting his last breaths, his father handed him a cheque with an amount that left Jeff's mouth involuntarily open. What further shocked him was when the bank sent a memo that read...

"Cheque Returned due to insufficient funds."

ROFL what a dad to have. The son would spend the rest of his life cursing him and at the same time admiring his conning skills. :P
All the best for BAT!

Isn't that what can be expected of a con, to be left for his son?

The best thing a dying father can do for a son is to teach him a trick or two of your trade :)

hehe...good one ...reminded me of the ad by fevicol, wherein the son gets a zero added to 100000 and then when comes near the window, a ceiling leaks and a water drops on 1 before 100000 and leaves him with just zeros :D

cool :) bechare :)
