The Smile

He looked at the crippled guy standing alongside at the railway station and a number of thoughts flashed across his mind. He smiled as he thanked god for giving him everything perfect. But the smile vanished at the sight of the arriving train. He looked at the suffocating mob of people and planned his strategy to rush in. This time the crippled smiled as he easily climbed the empty handicap compartment.

But getting into an empty compartment cannot substitute for what all he could have done if he wasn't handicapped.
Anyway, nice post!

Nicely done. Everybody has something to smile about...

But I would rather be in the guy's shoes and try to board a train packed like sardines... than be a cripple. Honest...

I love the positivity it conveys Saurabh!

It goes on to say that everyone has to endure their share of ordeal in life.

Every ordeal can be dealt with provided people are 'optimistic'.I've been associated with visually challenged kids for a while now and I must a admit they're far more POSITIVE & OPTIMISTIC than a lot of us who are more privileged than they are yet, we choose to complain! Sigh!

You hit the nail yet again with a simple but hard hitting story! Kudos! :) :)

came here through the blog link that Raksha shared on Facebook.

liked the story :)
This reiterates the point that, when life take something away from u...it gives something back in retun too!
So one should stop complaining about whats taken away and smile at whats given in return :)
